Jessica from The Italian Dream…
What was the idea behind the shoot?
Is there a better fusion than a minimalist luxe wedding gown with a pink tailored suit at all?
A modern view of weddings, perfect for laid-back couples that are a sucker for fashion trends and design aesthetics – a new point of view that the post-Covid era has brought, with the main focus on having fun with the beloved ones with no dictated rules.
Where did you get your inspiration from?
Fashion and design are my mainly source of inspiration, but I always make sure I add that pop of colour!
How did you find the suppliers who made this concept come to life?
Some of the suppliers I worked with in this shoot are on my “go to list” as we worked together before and we are empathetically and aesthetically on the same wavelenght, while other suppliers have been deeply spied through social media – Instagram can do magic!
What details/look are your favourite, and why?
I am obsessed with the couples outfits – they are so stylish and perfectly comfortable in their looks! effortless but chic, playful but curated – a new vision of what a wedding outfit can be!
Medusa London notes “our outfits are made for the understated, modern and conscious ones. Everything is made to be comfortable and free from constraints, sleek and luxurious, for the cool brides with a minimalist approach to fashion. Made from sustainable materials such as 100% organic silk and is handmade in London using couture techniques. Each piece is made in order to minimise waste and can be transformed after the wedding to be reused for other events.“
Despoken added “Suit up, because personality isn’t the first thing people see! We live in a world that is highly visual, one where first impressions matter, no matter what room you’re in. Our aim is to instill comfort and confidence to everyone who wears a Despoken suit. Our suits are hand-made by highly experienced tailors creating each garment as an expression of personal style. Garments are crafted with top quality fabrics only from Italian and UK mills cut in a form-flattering fit.“

Colour, energy, fun and joy with a twist of coolness is what Abi and Mikes are showing you in this industrial London wedding. And if you add a few disco balls, neon lights, a fantastic giant bespoke banner and a telephone box… well, your guest will surely gape!

The Venue on Middle Street in Croydon is perfect to host weddings and events with a young and playful vibe – from the reception area, to the ceremony one until the disco bit, this venue has it all! Three different situations within the same venue for a guaranteed day of fun and laughter in style!
What’s the most important tip you have for couples planning their wedding?
Have fun and leave the stressful bit to a professional! You don’t want to spend the best day of your life thinking if everything is run right as the schedules says, you would rather focus on creating beautiful memories with your loved ones!
