I feel like a socially awkward turtle at times, so I get the need to find a photographer who is not just great at capturing images, but also somebody who literally gets you!
There is no cheese, no cringe, just honest modern and raw emotional imagery. From tears to jäger stains, and Nan taking her first ever shot.... i will document it and fill your collection full of surprises you didn’t even know were happening.
I am totally un-traditional, and get the need to have your wedding totally your way, no traditions. I approve of the wedding that Nan won’t approve of.
I completely blend in with you and your guests, I’ll be full of bants with those who love to dish out them bevvy fuelled comments, I’ll dance with you, laugh with you, and quite possibly even cry with you, you’ll barely see me!
By the time your wedding is over, you will feel like you have gained a new mate.

Hey, well who the heck am i? - Well, I’m Jade (if you hadn’t already guessed it) I’m the face behind the camera... I feel like a socially awkward gal, who longs to be way cooler than i actually am.

I’m a sausage dog mum, a HUGE dog lover, in fact a HUGE animal lover. A Gin addict, i kind of buy them because the bottles look pretty in the gin corner. A Vinyl addict, because, well there is NO better music quality, right?

Lover of festivals, Ibiza sunsets, Hippy Markets and Bali - because it’s literally the best place on earth. There’s no better feeling than the sensation and connection you get from that Ubud Jungle!

Putting the ‘UN’ in Un-traditional. Here at Jade Maguire Photography we like to do things differently, your wedding is so important to me, and giving you the memories to treasure forever is why i do what i do. That’s why it’s so important you find a photographer who you LOVE just as much as the images.
There is no cheese, no awkward cringe poses. You see i class myself as socially awkward, so i completely get why people do not like being in front of that camera, but i promise you, you will LOVE being in front of mine.

Ideal for the couples who are throwing away the rule book, eating pizza or a fusion bbq instead of a sit down meal. Heck anything other than a formal sit down meal.

For those couples who want to PARTY hard, in fact for those couples who’s wedding is totally about the party, with guests that fill the dance floor and be pulling shapes until the earlier hours! For those couples who are determined to be the last ones standing, and want to have the biggest, best, most beautiful or most RAD wedding of all their friends.

What makes us unique

With the risk of sounding like a million other photographers, i am an alternative photographer living just outside of Chester into North Wales and i will travel ANYWHERE in the world for LOVE!

My couples tend to cringe at the thought of having to have a wedding that mum wants, because when mum got married you had a church wedding and lovely little meal and that was that…. they don’t want to upset mum but they just don’t want it mums way. Well here’s the thing, this is YOUR day… 100% your day, you do you!

I very rarely take church weddings, because, well… let’s be fair that is traditional, it doesn’t matter if you tell me that you have found the most untraditional priest / vicar, sorry, but, you are having a traditional ceremony.

When you book me you gain a best friend, i am there for you throughout the whole wedding journey. I am there for you whenever you need me, whether it be a quick FaceTime to rant about how the Mr/Mrs to be isn’t pulling his/her weight with the wedding planning or you want help with suppliers, or colour choices, or music choices. I am there for you, on the flip side though, i am not one of those photographer who is constantly slipping into your inbox. You book me, i do a happy dance, i go quiet, until you need me, or the day is fast approaching.

I have a slight obsession with humanist ceremonies, i adore how personal and unique they are.

My couples normally don’t like their photo’s being taken but love to just have wild fun, which is super cool, I actually hate having my picture taken, so i focus loads on capturing the real you. I have so many tricks up my sleeves to get the best out of you and get you guys to loosen up, we WILL have fun, and if i need to get you a shot or two to loosen up even more than so be it.

Lots of my couples book me because they’ve seen me play with smoke bombs and they want in on the pyromania too.

I absolutely adore what i do, and genuinely feel like every wedding i shoot that i am giving you guys the best gift of memories ever. I am crazy passionate about what i do. Your connection, your vibe, your day is honestly the most important thing to me. My couples give me life, and spur on my constant creative passions.

I can quote any part of the Rocky Horror Picture Show….which i promise i won’t unless of course requested.
