Hey there!

Designer Jo has over 25 years of experience in this specialist area. Both she and her team consult with each bride on a one to one basis ,we work with each client all the way through the creative process, from initial consultation and design, through fittings to the finished gown.

The Couture Company specialises in custom made, alternative, quirky, unusual and unique bespoke bridal gowns. Designed and made with the understanding that each one of our brides are unique and individual, we work closely with our clients to create their ultimate gown. Our aim is to make you look completely awesome for your wedding day.

All our gowns are made in house, made in England and most importantly made for YOU by an experienced team at our Birmingham boutique atelier, each one being created in the finest fabrics, using exquisite detailing and flattering pattern cutting techniques.

We offer a personal, relaxed and friendly environment, where you can choose from unique embroideries, delicate French laces, and an array of silks and couture detailing. You will be able to view and try on some our eclectic and unique collection of wedding gowns in retro, unusual, alternative and individual styles.

What makes us unique

Honestly??? …Our brides makes us YOUnique, we work closely with our lovely clients to produce a gown that is bespoke to them, whether they want Unicorns and rainbows, kissing penguins, sentimental flowers and initials, or Steampunk inspired embroideries laser cut in leather, a Tim Burton Corpse Bride inspired gown or if they want the names of them and their partner held on a banner by a diving swallow, whether they want red, pink, black, purple with lime green polka dots….if we can do that , and be confident it will look awesome then we will pull out all the stops(and spots) to make it happen for that client.
