Bespoke Hair & Makeup service…
Today we welcome a new hair & make up artist to the Mr & Mrs Unique team – Sabrina Lily. Sabrina is known for working in the world of theater, and uses her experience to create a unique look for her Brides. Erica has personally had the experience of using Sabrina for a boudoir shoot, and she loves her!
Here Sabrina tells us a bit more about her business and services…
Sabrina…
Tell us a bit about your business…
I am a Hair and Make-Up Artist based in South London.
What made you start up the business…
I work in the theatre as a Wigs, Hair and Make-Up Artist which has given me an excellent learning ground for hair skills. I love weddings and helping brides to figure out how to feel unique and beautiful on their big day.
What makes you Unique…
I am not overly girly but I have experience with skincare which has helped me to give tailor made advice to my clients. I currently work in the west end and freelance so my world is not just weddings. I feel this helps to keep things current as I am always learning!
What kind of couples match your style of service…
Non ‘bridey’ brides, brides that are after something more than a make-up price list, where they want a personal service. I always end up becoming some sort of wedding beauty adviser in the lead up to the day.
Tells us what you love about your business…
That it is mine, and that it has enabled me to be creative and work with some of the most wonderfully creative people.
Most favourite event/ wedding…
I have loved 99% of weddings I have done, all different and amazing in their own way.
Future plans…
My husband is a chef and we have long term plans to open a base that will encompass food, accommodation and beauty. It will give us both the creative outlet that we are currently working towards. In the future I’d like to be able to host workshops to pass on knowledge and meet lots of creative people.
Welcome to the team Sabrina!
