Colourful, Romantic Bridal Inspiration..
Today we’re bringing you a gorgeous bohemian inspired bridal shoot from the lovely Krysta at For the Love of Weddings.
The team filled Garthmyl Hall with bright, exotic tones, lavish florals, DIY touches and a stunning 4 tiered cake – beautiful! I also spy Mr & Mrs Unique supplier, the lovely Kate Cullen who provided the lush silk table runners!

Krysta from For the Love of Weddings..
My main objective was to showcase the diversity of the venue for potential couples to style their wedding day, and for this look we decided to find inspiration from the striking murals around the building.
The florist for this shoot, Pheasant Botanica, created a free-flowing bouquet full of bright and exotic pink and green tones taking inspiration from the dining room mural. This worked especially well against the white backdrop of the rustic orangery. Focusing mainly on wild, unstructured arrangements that are environmentally friendly, Pheasant Botanica, was the perfect florist for this shoot.
The headpiece she created for our model was sensational and was even more stunning with the lingerie in the ensuit. My supplier for the paper flowers worked closely with the stationery designer and cake designer to tie the main elements of design together and I think it worked brilliantly against the backdrop of the dining room mural.
Couples are becoming increasingly experimental and brave when it comes to décor, flowers, DIY, choosing a venue, and going off-piste from the more conventional days we’ve seen in the past, which is so exciting for me as a stylist. I wanted this shoot to be a treat on our five senses; I think the use of silk, pheasant feathers, paper flowers, foliage, gold tipped macarons and use of mixed china and cutlery really helped create this feeling of just wanting to reach out and touch everything.
I wanted to keep things intimate and informal, which is why I chose mismatched china and even used a mixture of silver and copper cutlery. I didn’t want there to be one specific centrepiece but for the whole tablescape to feel on show. The foliage runner complete with pheasant feathers laid on top of silk worked perfectly to achieve this. I’m always looking for alternative ways to add décor to chairs, and these DIY dreamcatchers worked so well with the mood.
