Pretty, Floral Wedding Inspiration…
When this shoot from MMU supplier, Dearly Beloved, hit our inbox I couldn’t help but feel happy! Spring is all about beautiful blooms and this shoot has it all; custom stationery designs, vibrant wild flowers, and a stunning hand painted cake, all taking inspiration from Dearly Beloved‘s spectacular stationery- LOVE!
Over to the the design duo to tell us a bit more…
Abigail & Ben from Dearly Beloved…
We have joined forces with some wonderful wedding suppliers to bring you this Spring Time Chic styled shoot. Celebrating the finer details of a wedding this inspirational shoot is focused on custom wedding invitations, wild, rustic flowers and a hand painted coordinating cake. This creative collaboration is all about vibrant styling with sweet pastels and modern rose gold tones – perfect couples looking for something a little different!
This inspirational styled shoot was a great opportunity to bring together talented Devon wedding suppliers that share our ethos for creative, personalised celebrations.
We used the quirky wedding stationery suite we designed for Devonport Guildhall featuring a custom illustration of the historic architecture and colourful florals as a starting point for the shoot. Abi had a wonderful day working collaboratively with the amazing ladies from Edible Essence Cake Art, Native Flower Farm, Grace Elizabeth Photography and UpArt Photography to create contemporary, fun styling!
Native Flower Farm always uses truly seasonal flowers from their own farm and other local growers in all of their work, all year round.
“…we knew we needed bright but delicate flowers to highlight and meld all the elements of the scheme into one big beautiful whole. Inspired by what we saw in our fields and the classic flower shapes of Dearly Beloved Guildhall designs, we created a bridal bouquet and table-scape of bright pops and fresh greens in a riotous garden-gathered style with a delicate nod to the elegance of the Regency setting of the Guildhall with our favourite trailing ribbon styling.” Kelly, Native Flower Farm
This luxurious cake was created by award winning couture cake designer Edible Essence. Taking inspiration from the the invitation’s floral wreath, Jenny from Edible Essence, hand painted this contemporary cake with sugarcraft detail.
We were lucky enough to have not one but two photographers capturing products AND behind the scenes images of the suppliers in action. Huge thanks to talented photographer Grace Elizabeth Photography who brought her genuine, story-teller style to the shoot. And also to the lovely Agata from UpArt Photography for her fun photography, passionate approach, friendly direction.
We are swooning at this BEAUTIFUL film of the day, created by Mitch Guy over at Grace Elizabeth Photography!
Couples tying the knot at Devonport Guildhall can choose this contemporary stationery collection for their own celebration and even customise the design to match their wedding colour scheme. Contact Dearly Beloved for more info!
