Tell us a bit about your business…
Dearly Beloved consists of creative couple Abigail McKenzie and Ben Aslett; specialising in contemporary occasion stationery and beautifully crafted products, we are a design duo with a love of great stationery.
We work together from our Devon based home studio creating everything from invitations and RSVPs to personalised favours helping modern couples tie the knot in style.
What made you start up the business…
We both come from an illustration background; Abi had been doing the occasional wedding invitation as part of her freelance practice previously and loved it! We really enjoy working with other couples to make the vision for their wedding day happen.
What makes you Unique…
We offer a truly bespoke wedding design service alongside our stylish contemporary collections; every one of our illustrations starts with a hand drawn sketch. We pride ourselves on being able to offer that personal touch, send us your favourite song lyrics or the detail of your bridesmaid’s dresses and we can incorporate these into your wedding stationery.
What kind of couples match your style of service…
We have found that our couples love fun design with a chic edge. We encourage our couples not to be afraid to break traditions. Your wedding is a celebration of the beginning your lives together, we can help you make your wedding what it should be – all about you!
Tells us what you love about your business…
We are really lucky to be able to work together doing something we love. It’s so great when a couple send us photographs from their wedding day, seeing how the day came together, how they used our artwork and the smiles on their faces.

Argh, what a hard question! We love them all! We can narrow it down to a few… Modern Floral Destination, New York City Ombre, Country Portrait… Oh and Mid Century London City

Future plans…
We have recently launched a brand spanking new website, and for the first time you can order our stationery collections straight from our online store. We have also updated our portfolio to showcase even more of our bespoke projects. We are hoping to fill 2016 with even more beautiful couples, inspirational styled shoots and creative collaborations.
