Hey there!

I’m Amelia, the creative force behind AMW Events.

I’m passionate about planning unique, fun, creative weddings and events. I help couples design a wedding day that truly reflects them in every detail. I’m calm under pressure, easy going and super organised, lists are my thing! I’m here to collaborate with you, and be your sidekick on your wedding day!

I’ve always worked in creative industries, from production assistant, to a venue finder and worked in-house at two wedding venues. This has taught me to think on my feet, go with the flow and rise to the challenge. It’s allowed me to think outside the box, and I will bring that energy to create bespoke designs for you. I love working with cool creative people, who want to invest in the experience of their wedding!

Heyyy I’m Amelia from AMW Events – an alternative wedding planner & stylist based in Cheltenham, specialising in modern non traditional weddings for cool creative laidback couples. I plan, style, and create weddings that reflect you as a couple, and injecting your personalities into your wedding. AND if you can’t quite find what you’re looking for chances are I can create it for you.

My ideal client are busy creatives, who want to creative a fun, meaningful wedding. They don’t want a traditional wedding but a wedding that reflects them that is relaxed. They also want to invest in making it look and feel amazing and are willing to invest in the experience and feel of the day. And ultimately to relax and enjoy their day.

What makes us unique

AMW Events was established whilst working in the wedding industry, I noticed most couples were planning weddings to what they thought a wedding day had to look like, not a wedding day they actually wanted. They were missing the true purpose, which is to celebrate their story. Understandably most couples have never had to plan a wedding before, where do you begin, how do you even plan a wedding day that is different? That’s where I come in, I’ve got lots of experience, tips and advice to make your wedding planning journey FUN! After all a wedding is a celebration so let’s celebrate BIG!
