I’m your on-the-day friend, not just a supplier. An extra pair of hands, eyes and ears to help the day run smoothly and avert disaster if something tries to delay your rendezvous with Star Command. (Wait, wedding. I meant wedding.)
I’m quite good at getting people to relax in front of me because I just banter a lot until you laugh. But not in an overbearing annoying way where it’s constant cheesy one-liners interrupting the flow of the day. I know when to keep quiet and let things unfold. Much of the time, you won’t even know I’m there.
If you’re getting hitched, I’ll show you where to buy the GOOD confetti, help you organise the day, and carry an emergency bag that has saved more than one person from an allergic reaction (true story).

The full day package also comes with a pre wedding shoot to help ease those “we’re so awkward” fears because I guarantee you – you’re not as awkward as you think you are – and they’re fun!

I wish we could give these amazing gals more than 5 stars! From the very moment that we met Joy Story we knew they were the one, we had an instant bond and knew that they understood what we wanted from our wedding photographs. As a couple who were very nervous about posing for photos, we didn't have to worry and were made to feel at ease throughout the whole process. Our photographs are exceptional, engagement shoot included and every detail of our wedding day was captured. Thanks again ladies- YOU ROCK! 10/10 would recommend!!

Joy Story were brilliant from the moment we made contact with them through to delivery of our finished album. We got on really well with Sarah who is super organised and made us feel relaxed from our first meeting. Neither of us being naturals at having photos taken we surprisingly enjoyed our engagement shoot and got some fantastic pictures (including the dog) as Sarah put us at ease straight away. On the Wedding day itself Sarah captured everything perfectly and with no fuss at all - so many friends and family have commented on how amazing our photographs are, and how they barely noticed the photographers on the day! We love the album too, and can't thank Sarah enough for capturing all the special moments.

Can't I give more than five stars?? I could say a million and one amazing things about Joy Story, from the quality of their photos to their warm personalities. From the moment we met them, we felt like we knew them and they made us totally relaxed in front of the camera. They captured our wedding better than I could have ever imagined and I love that the story of the day is preserved so beautifully.
