Beginning her creative career as a jewellery designer, training as a silversmith in London, Stephanie began working in the world of floristry and discovered her passion for flowers! As a home based specialist wedding florist for several years, it was a natural progression for her to open her own shop, and ‘Stephanie Rose’, the beautiful florist shop in the heart of historic Hitchin, was opened 6 years ago.
Stephanie’s passion is for flowers with a natural, loose and unstructured feel, and her rustic shop reflects this.
Her beautiful selections of cut flowers evolve with the changing seasons and include unusual locally grown cottage garden blooms, which she uses to create her unique designs. She hand dries a wide range of flowers, using these in her one off rustic hearts and wreaths.
She has many wedding clients, and understanding that flowers should reflect everything about the bride and her special day, she personally carries out all her consultations. Into every wedding she injects a sense of the brides personality, from a quirky, homespun collection of vintage copperware filled with a selection of warm and earthy Autumnal blooms, an informal, just picked jug of country flowers, to a striking statement display of orchids. From country hotel to barn and farm, modern restaurant to summer marquee, Stephanie’s beautiful flowers will compliment and enhance.
She has a small and dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced florists who share her passion and vision.
