We’ve spent years honing our craft as photographers, and have trained with some of the best in the world and we’ve been recognised multiple times for our style and the quality of our work, which is a big old cherry on an already delicious cake!
Yes, we’re able to scan crowds and spot magic moments; yes, we can use light to create gorgeous, artistic compositions; yes, we can find unexpected angles and set ups. However, the main thing you’ll feel when you chat to us is how deeply we care.
We care about you, we care about your wedding, we care about your history, we care about your family, your in-jokes and the dozens of hilarious little quirks that make you guys you guys.

Hey there!

We’re Marta and Artur (pronounced R2 – yep, like a Star Wars droid), and we’re pleased to meet you. We work as a team when shooting weddings and we complement each other well, because we naturally zone in on different things during a wedding:

We are The Mays, a pair of friendly ninjas, multi-award winning wedding photographers based in Hereford, West Midlands.

Our mission is for you to feel your photos. To see the happiness, the interactions and the characters that all played a part in your wedding day. We take time getting to know you before the big day. That way, on the day, we can just… hang out, like friends.

Friends with cameras who just happen to be a little bit awesome at capturing the important stuff, the emotional stuff, and the gorgeous moments in between.

– are famed for your wicked head-back cackle
– want your love to be shown through laughter
– want vibrant wedding photos that are overflowing with life

What makes us unique

We work as a team when shooting weddings, and we’ve shot about 400 together over the years. Working with two photographers will always result in a more interesting selection of images, because you’ve got two brains, four eyes and two points of view whirring away on the job.

But working with two people who know each other inside out, finish each other’s sandwiches and can communicate with looks, head nods and other tiny wordless gestures will guarantee you a seamless experience and a collection of really nuanced, bold and artistic imagery that expresses the story of your wedding day.

Also, we understand that shelves of trophies or clusters of medals probably won’t be top of your list of criteria when you’re looking for the right wedding photographers for you. And we agree with you – the most important thing is that you click with your photographers, that you feel comfortable with them and (of COURSE) that you like their photography style.

However, awards in the world of photography are worth taking note of, too. Essentially because they’re really darn hard to win! So, if you do see proof of recognition in national and, yes, international, awards, you can rest assured that these are serious marks of quality.
