Hi, I'm Charlotte, the Founder and Owner of Tipi Spaces. I have been organising events for over 22 years and have been privileged to plan parties in some extraordinary locations (Kensington Palace, The Dorchester Hotel, Government House Sydney). My husband Shane (the Engineer) and I want to give you the freedom and flexibility to celebrate in a luxurious mobile venue in a location that is meaningful to you with the same super-star service. We work with a brilliant crew who are all as passionate as we are about ensuring your wedding is perfect.

Tipi Spaces offer unique ivory-white tipis for outdoor weddings in a location of your choice. We deliver and build our tipis all over the South West and beyond.

Our tipis are designed for you to plan and enjoy your wedding with freedom, in a natural landscape with the people you cherish most. Whether that is at your home or someone else’s, by the sea or on the moor, on a hilltop or forest glade, in a field or a garden. The possibilities are endless and we are here to help every step of the way.

We are very proud of our tipis and the service we offer. We have been planning World-class events in luxurious locations for over 22 years and guarantee to deliver an exceptional service and ensure that you have the perfect wedding day.

We are a small, family owned and run business, based in Devon. We don’t have a board of Directors or investors to keep happy – only you, our valued clients.

Our expertise is second-to-none with an experienced team of Engineers and luxury event managers ensuring that every project we undertake is delivered with precision and high attention to detail with a service that is exceptional.

The tipi structure is very flexible. Multiple tipis can be linked together to create an open plan space that is as small or as large as you need for your number of guests.

The sides of the tipis can be lifted to enable you to enjoy the view from inside the tipis. We can also fit window walls so you can sit in comfort inside whilst still enjoying the view outside.

We supply flooring and lighting, furniture and soft furnishings to help you design and style the perfect space for your wedding.

The white canvas offers complete flexibility for you to decorate the tipis in your favourite style yet with all the benefits of the brilliant Swedish Nordic tipi engineering.

Our tipis are made from natural resources including cotton canvas and poles made from trees grown in sustainable forests. For every pole made a new tree is grown. The lighter coloured canvas lets more natural light inside the tipis, reducing the need for electric light. The smoke caps provide a natural ventilation system which effectively keeps the tipis cool on hot Summer days.

We also offer a complete event planning service, find a venue, source other equipment (toilets, staging, sound), infrastructure (power, water) and suppliers and provide on-the-day wedding coordination.

We hired Tipi Spaces for our wedding in Devon, and they were absolutely perfect. Charlotte was always quick to respond, was incredibly helpful in the planning, and was always willing to offer support. Her and Shane conducted a site visit in advance to confirm they had all of the space they needed, which was really reassuring.
During the Tipi build and tear down, Charlotte, Shane, and their team were absolutely superb. They were approachable, friendly, and professional throughout. We had asked for a lot, the full three tipis, with a pagoda tent for the caterers, and a dancefloor in one of the tipis. They did an amazing job of it.
We had around 96 guests for the wedding dinner, and then about 140-150 later in the evening. Everybody commented on how amazing the tipis looked and were really impressed by them.

We owe Tipi Spaces a massive thank you for their amazing work, they really made out wedding a special day. The tipis truly made it for us. The team are absolutely fantastic, and will go the extra mile for you. We could not recommend Tipi Spaces enough, if you want a tipi event then look no further.

We hired the duo tipis with an attached pagoda tent for our wedding, which accommodated the 100 adults and 50 kids we had at our wedding. The tipis were beautiful and very clean, and created such a cosy and magical atmosphere on the day.
Charlotte was also extremely helpful in the planning process leading up to the wedding, offering a lot of options and solutions to problems we had, whether that was supplying furniture or equipment themselves, suggesting other competitively priced suppliers as well as helping to plan the logistics for the day, such as a well thought through running order and a rain contingency plan.
They were very professional in all their communications with us, and they really made the whole process go smoothly and without any stress, which is all you can hope for when planning your own wedding. I’d highly recommend them to anyone planning an outdoor event.
