Whimsical Bridal Style…
Today I’m finally sharing with you one of my favourite Mr & Mrs Unique shoots to date; an amazing flower filled, whimsical bridal shoot working alongside an incredible team within the majestically unique surroundings of Aynhoe Park.
The initial idea was that I wanted to create an incredible floral installation up Aynhoe Park’s majestic staircase, which has an abundance of glorious natural light. When Alex from The Bijou Bride and Lizzie from Early Hours London came on board, the idea developed into a gorgeous Sleeping Beuaty themed shoot. Similar to the fairytale where she took a bite into a poisoned apple; our beautiful brides would take a bite out of a sweet peach and then things would take a darker turn. We would create these two worlds; one all soft, feminine and romantic then as you walked up the stairs the vibe become more darker and sexier.
The amazing Early Hours London team was in charge of the flowers for this installation and decorated the bottom of the staircase with hydrangeas, teal coloured asparagus ferns, miniature balloon balls from Bubblegum Balloons team and tall vases filled with peaches and apples.

As you moved up the staircase the flowers and foliage were in peach, dusky pink and teal tones. Grey wispy olive trees and varying sized teal bottles edge the stairs, which were overflowing with blossom branches, stunning pale blue delphinium and soft pink, fern filled balloons from Bubblegum Balloons.
Alex from The Bijou Bride paired the romantic, softs tones of the flowers with feminine bridal style using luxurious lace appliqué gowns from Morgan Davies London and Les Trois Soeurs Bridal Boutique. Make up was minimal and teamed with delicate plaits for a very youthful look.
In contrast, the top of Aynhoe’s staircase was covered in wild foliage and rich blooms. A moss floor was decorated with dark hydrangeas and poison ivy to create a sultry, darker mood to the styling. Bridal wear became more edgier and modern. Un-done hairstyles were matched with bold berry lips, and incredible illusion gowns by Inbal Dror with plunging necklines, thigh splits and figure-accentuating cuts created a more dramatic look.
Hope you like it! A huge thank you to the incredible team that helped with the shoot- credits shown below :)
