… and we’re back in the room! Apologises for the radio silence over the past week! It’s been a bit crazy this end and I’ve realised it’s been a little while since I last posted. Life/work sometimes just gets in the way!
However, we are back with bang! Check out this utterly gorgeous bridal lingerie shoot which took place at The Giraffe Shed and captured by Hannah from Rocksalt Photography. Hannah is one multi talented supplier who not only runs her own creative wedding photography biz, but also set up The Giraffe Shed with her husband!
Taking inspiration from dreamy Renaissance paintings, it was the perfect mix of Roisin Reuss lingerie, W Collective bespoke bridal accessories, Doom and Bloom florals, and THAT light produced from The Giraffe Shed.
Over to Jess from W Collective to tell us more…
Jess from W Collective…

With lockdown putting, well, a lockdown on styled shoots, we were itching to flex our creative muscles as soon as we (safely) could. This tiny team turned it around on a bright yet crisp October day, bringing the most beautiful, divine feminine energy to The Giraffe Shed in Mid-Wales.
The concept was to create a heavenly backdrop for our cherub like models to take centre stage, much like those dreamy Renaissance paintings of wonderfully aloof looking women lounging around.
We threw around fabric and flowers, asking ‘is this too much?’ then adding more and more. It somehow takes a lot of effort to create an effortless, ‘I just threw this together’ kinda backdrop!
We had no glam squad for this shoot, it was all about natural beauty shining through. Roisin Reuss brought along her stunning bespoke lingerie and nightwear, gorgeously crafted with the most luxurious fabrics and detailing, whilst Jess of W Collective provided a range of sparkling, embellished veils and romantic ruffled tulle collars to complete the look.
The multi talented Rebecca of Doom & Bloom not only provided and styled the florals for this shoot but also modelled alongside the beautiful Jazmin.
We made use of the Giraffe Shed’s roll top bathtub as a second scene, again overflowing with florals – this shoot had an incredible scent, if only you could smell it! With the day drawing in, we managed to squeeze in some glorious golden hour pics by the lake, along with some sultry shots in the Shephard Hut (the newest addition to The Giraffe Shed’s empire), all captured by the talented Hannah of Rocksalt Photography, who has an eye for good lighting and is always detail-oriented (you can tell this with how amazing the lighting is in The Giraffe Shed, which she and her husband built themselves).

It was truly a magical day. Going in with no expectations and totally winging it made it all the better. Being part of a tiny team with big dreams means that everybody’s work is showcased equally, making for the coolest creative collaboration.
