Magical Oxfordshire Festival…
There is something really magical about Wilderness Festival. I have spent many years of my youth visiting different festivals and I have enjoyed many of them, but there is something about Wilderness that just captures my heart.
For me going to Wilderness in 2015 was about me finding my festival feet after being off the circuit since having two children. Wilderness is a very kid friendly festival, but it was my weekend to escape the madness and routine of home life and to go and let loose for a few days (minus kids,) in the glorious Oxfordshire countryside.
The Wilderness programme is so varied; there is something for everyone. The line up includes music, theatre, pop-up restaurants, variety of street food and cocktail vans, talks, workshops, wild swimming and so much more.
One minute your having a delicious sit down meal at The Petersham Nurseries, the next your head to toe in glitter (thank you Rosa Bloom and In Your Dreams girls) and heading down to party in the Valley! Other highlights include the incredible selection of delicious street food stalls on offer (check out Moro as its sooo good!), Jose Cuervos Tequilla Town, and how can you miss out on drinking champagne in a hot tub at The Lakeside Spa!
Sadly this year I couldn’t attend (boooo!) but I knew the lovely Laura from Babb Photo was heading down for a well deserved weekend of fun, so here are a few snaps from her Wilderness adventures… Thanks Laura, you’ve captured the heart of the festival! Xx
Early bird tickets are already up for sale for next year which you can buy here… make sure you book this in your diary. I certainly am!

Love this post! I have been to the Wilderness festival kid free twice and had an absolutely amazing time. Last night I bought tickets to go with the husband and three children (5,8 & 15) I know it will be an entirely new experience going with the kids but I am SO looking forward to sharing it with them
