Colour, street food & flower crowns!

What a lush wedding we have for you today. We have tipi’s, an outdoor ceremony, flower crowns, cool street food and a great party vibe.

I love the outdoor venue! Woodland Weddings is perfect for festival style weddings like this.

Tania & Dean also booked a couple of different street food vans to attend their wedding day and its good to see The Bourneville Waffle Company and their amazing converted caravan serve up delicious treats for their guests.

‘Tania booked me only 5 months before the wedding as they had only just got engaged! Dean made a joke in his speech that he thought the wedding would be next year! ha! It’s quite unusual for me to get booked so late and I’m so glad I was free as it was my last available date in August! Tania was so sweet and said she was so chuffed I was available because her family kept sending her websites for traditional photographers and she was set on having an alternative wedding photographer and spent ages looking!

Tania’s house was a dream to shoot in, she has a gorgeous Victorian house with cool furnishings and the big Victorian windows let in lot’s of light!

I actually hadn’t met Tania before we the big day (which is super unusual) and when I arrived to see all these pretty bridesmaids and a beautiful bride and her gorgeous home I was so excited! They had stunning boho style dresses and the most beautiful flower crowns! I’m a sucker for a flower crown, i’d wear one everyday if I could! (more flower crowns please!)

The wedding was set in a magical woodland setting, (my first woodland wedding!) which for a photographer is a real challenge, especially on a sunny day as the light is constantly changing, one second you’re in a pool of light, then you turn and it’s really dark! But their woodland wedding looked totally magical!’
