Happy Tuesday all!
I have some epic wedding inspiration for you today. A few months back I took part in a photo shoot in London with some fellow wedding industry friends… why? Because after 12+ months of being stuck indoors and with the wedding industry effectively closed down… we wanted to get our heads together, get creative and pull together some style ideas that had been bouncing around our heads.
Cue a few late nights chatting via zoom with Lisa from Lisa Jane Photography, Lee from Lee Allen Photography and Robin from Loved Up Films. We all wanted to create a collection of images that focused on colour blocking and getting our hands on some big tulle dresses that would create amazing shapes when there was movement.

The shoot took place at one of my favourite London venues the Town Hall Hotel which is a boutique, design, hotel in the heart of London’s East End. Set in a former Edwardian town hall, they have successfully mixed modern design with art deco features. The team set us up in the De Montford Suite for the day and you can’t help but fall in love with its triple-height ceilings, huge arched stained glass window and period wood panelling… the location was the perfect juxtaposition against the bright, colourful stying and the Millia London dresses.
Carina from Powder Blue Artistry was our HMUA for the photoshoot. Having worked alongside Carina on another project I knew that she would be able to nail the brief and work her magic on not 1 but 3 models on the day.
London florist House of Petula provided the beautiful bouquet for the shoot and we also called in statement bridal accessories from some amazing creatives such as Anisha Palmer, Saint Beth Official and Ashley Wild Bridal. Put it all together with three AMAZING models, Holly, Aleah and Katie from Lenis Models and it was a perfect combo… we LOVED the outcome… hope you do too!
