Doris Loves has brought fun and laughter to weddings and events since 2012 with our innovative light up letters and numbers. We can spell almost anything (we even spelt SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS, but be warned, that took up 68feet of space!), and the best bit is, as they are battery powered, they can go anywhere, from castles to beaches, caves to boardrooms.

We also offer Temporary Tattoos, from our extensive range, or we can produce custom tattoos from your own designs or photos. Either we come to your event with a Tattoo Stand and tattoo your guests, or buy a DIY Tattoo Station in a Box and do it yourself!

Ideal for...

We cater to all types of people with all types of events. We have provided letters to plenty of different weddings in an enormous variety of venues (castles, barns, fields, beaches!) right through to medical conferences and even television programmes. Our customer is literally indefinable, as they are anyone who wants to spell out something, whether that is saying “I LOVE YOU” or “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”, we can help.

With our Temporary Tattoos, the key is fun – some people think they are just for kids, and kids do love them, but from our experience, so does everyone else. Mr DL once applied 34 tattoos to a single guest at a wedding (the Best Man, too!) over the course of an evening. They can be used to express who you are and how you feel, right through to what superhero you love most. They are temporary. They will come off easily if you want them to. Dive in and have some fun. You deserve it.

What makes us unique

One of the great things about our light up letters is that they are battery powered, and therefore don’t have wires, or the need to be near a plug. That is good because you won’t trip over any cables, can move the letters around for photos, and if you hire enough of them, you can start to spell different, sometimes amusing, words! Which are always Mrs DL’s favourite! They are rechargeable, meaning that they last longer (approx. 48hrs of continuous use). Additionally, we take our environmental impact very seriously, and so don’t produce a ton of batteries to be recycled. We use wood sourced from sustainable sources, water based paints, and even the foam we use for packaging is made from recycled materials.

When it comes to the Temporary Tattoos, these aren’t the kind that just rub off. If properly applied, our tattoos can last much longer. We have loads of different ones to choose from, but the thing which really stands out are our custom tattoos. You can have virtually any design made into a tattoo, from a cartoon of your cats right through to a photo of your own face. You can either hire our Tattoo Station, which we will bring to your venue, along with a couple of members of Team Doris to tattoo your guests. Should you decide you don’t want our smiling faces at your venue, we won’t take it personally, as we also have a DIY Tattoo Station in a Box, which comes with everything you need to let the guests tattoo themselves. Again, the inks we use are plant based and vegan friendly, the paper backing is recyclable, and the protective film is made of cellulose.
