Hey, we’re back from a brief blog hiatus! The juggle became real so it took a bit of a back step for a little while, however it’s time to bring some colourful wedding inspiration back to your screens!
Today Natalia Case Photography, a valued member of our Unique Rebels Union Directory, shares her top five tips for organising your own wedding elopement, as well as sharing stunning photographs from a modern and colourful elopement shoot, held in none other than the city of Brighton – one of my personal favourites (I got engage myself on that pier!!)
Without further ado, we’ll let Natalia take it away…
Location, Location, Location…
Choose the perfect location: Elopements are all about intimacy and romance, so pick a location that reflects that. It can be a beautiful outdoor space, a cozy cabin, or even a destination abroad.
Capturing memories…
Hire a photographer: Even though you are eloping, you still want to capture the memories of your special day. Hire a photographer who you vibe with to ensure you get stunning pictures.
Don’t forget to plan…
Plan ahead: Just because you’re eloping doesn’t mean you can’t plan ahead. Make sure you have all the necessary documents, such as marriage licenses, and any other details sorted out in advance.
Add your own twist…
Personalise your ceremony: Elopements are a chance to make your ceremony truly unique. Consider writing your own vows or incorporating special rituals. Lean on your vendors for advice and suggestions, remember they have years of experience.
Celebrate…
Celebrate in your own way: Just because you’re eloping doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate. Plan a special dinner, book a couples massage, or do something else that’s meaningful to you.
