Rainbow wedding inspiration and bridal style…
Today is the day I finally get to share with you the photoshoot I worked on (with an awesome bunch of suppliers) back in Autumn last year.
It’s been ages since I’ve styled anything solely for Mr & Mrs Unique and I’ve been itching to get creative!
The theme we ran with was rainbows/weather (in pastel tones). Rainbow-inspired bridal shoots are not uncommon but I really wanted to take a different approach with this… instead of throwing rainbows, glitter, unicorns, and a million and one different ideas at the shoot (which seems to be the norm,) I wanted the focus on creating shape, movement, beautiful bridalwear, strong makeup, and fun portraits.
On the day, there were just the three of us (the epic Lisa Jane, myself and the lovely Carina from Powder Blue Artistry). We used pieces from Bowen Dryden’s beautiful new bridal collection and a stunning rainbow dress from Halo and Wren Bridal. Location wise we were lucky to use The Farmhouse at Redcoats in Hertfordshire which offered gorgeous grounds including the surrounding cornfields. Accessories we keep simple and used statement weather inspired pieces from Wolf and Moon.
The results… I loved so much that I used on the front cover of our newest lookbook which you can view HERE
A huge thank you to everyone that helped me with this project – looking forward to creating more magic in 2020!
